During this time the client will be able to see all submissions and will decide upon a winner.

CONTEST DESCRIPTION:
In this free contest, your task is to design a logo for FredrikHedlund.com, a company (website) which sells top quality kitchen equipment and spices. The site allows you to order equipment online and have it delivered to your door. It also represent the master chef Fredrik Hedlund which is part of the Swedish National Chef Team. You can read more about Fredrik here: (Swedish) http://www.kocklandslaget.se/ The client’s company is located in Sweden.The design will appear on all company branding and advertising (i.e. websites, business cards, letterheads, packagings, etc.).
PRIZE:
The logo entry that the client chooses will receive $100.00 (Paypal payments preferably) If you do not have a paypal acct or cannot accept money through pay pal than other payment methods can be worked out upon request.
CLIENT SPECIFICATIONS
* Logo must contain the words “Fredrik Hedlund”. This is not case Sensitive.
* The logo can contain up to 4 colors.
* Entries can contain gradients.

The client is looking for an iconic symbol to represent the company.

The client prefers Illustrator vector files (.ai ot .eps). Although we will also accept high resolution photohsop files with all layers intact.
GUIDELINES
* Please send your vector files (.ai or .eps) or your high res. Psd files with layers intact and any fonts used in logo - to aaronova@gmail.com
* Please do not enter slight variations of your logo as separate entries. Enter them as one entry.
* A 300px x 300px jpg or gif image of the logo design should also be submitted for display.
* Please note the name of artist/designer and brief description of your concept. (brief description - optional)
* Not sending the proper files may result in disqualification of submission.

The client will be granted the full rights to all aspects of the submission of their choice as a work-for-hire in exchange for the prize mentioned above.

Hey there, Web 2.0 still going at full force. Now no one really knows what web 2.0 means at this moment.. it has become so overused that it is actually FUNNY. So I say lets have fun with everyone else. You must have noticed how today if you want a cool website domain name you have to spell it funny and drop some vowels or add some or change some - whatever works. Anyways, I would say that the badge icons have become a Big icon in the web20 phase…and I would like to give out this free web 2.0 style badge in psd format. Yippeee. As you can see in the image below a nice “Koohl Kleen Whyte Badzh or you can call it a rounded cornr Starbrst” If web20 was a language this would be it. If you feel the same way let me know in the comments below.

Since photoshopit dot com was taken … I had to think of something else. I chose to call it “Photoshopcandy.com” I hope you all like the name. At first We will move the blog over to the new domain as is..so things may get confusing at first…. but once the transitional period is complete…than all new posts will be found at http://www.photoshopcandy.com .

I really want to thank everyone who comes to this blog. Even though I haven’t updated in sooooo long. You should know, “Good things come to those who wait.” Here are some stats updates: We are just about to pass the 100 000 mark for number of PSDS downloaded from my site. Which is a good thing…it means that there are alot of people out there who are getting benefit out of this…..It Feels good to know. Also - We have had over 450 000 page views since photoshopit began in September (8 months ago) As far as tutorials go ….I have not gotten around to writing any new ones…I really should be doing some more very soon. Although if you are talented and know your Photoshop stuff - feel free to send yours to aaronova@gmail.com and I will try to post it. Also We Hope to have a couple Logo design contests running here shortly so keep in touch.. gotta run.
